Have you ever been in a crowd and somebody was called up in front to testify and then their testimony began with something like……”Before I got born again, I used to…..and…..and…..and…..even…..” And by the time he or she is in the middle, you’re not even able to look at him the same way you used to😎Because his testimony is just amplifying the works of his old man (old self)🙆‍🙆‍🙆‍

Beloved, the day you got born again (believed and confessed the Lordship of Christ, (Romans 10:9-10) your past was made non-existent!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥You became a new creation, a new creature that never existed before. The old man (old you) was crucified with Christ on the cross and when He arose, you rose again together with Him (2 Cor 5:17). This new creature is not subject to poverty, diseases or curses or infirmities or the devil or life circumstances. It rules and dominates its world🔥🔥🔥💃💃💃No physical thing including certificates or achievements or circumstances can fully describe it; only a man with a revelation can. The new creation has no past. All old things have passed away, the new has come!🔥🔥😎

So the next time you are called to give a testimony, please don’t start with, before I got born again, I used to……..😂 😂The old man (you) was crucified with Christ. Our testimony as sons of God is the testimony of Christ!!

Your testimony ought to be something like, “Since I got born again, my life has been beautified by the Holy Ghost. Everywhere I go, I experience favour. I find myself just being the most preferred one, effortlessly. Even when life poses challenges to me, I emerge victorious because, in Christ, I am more than a conqueror! The wisdom of God has guided me to make the right decisions. His grace has brought me into contact with men and women whose lives I have transformed through the Word of God. Since I got born again, I just usually find myself being a blessing even to strangers everywhere. Last week, I won 20 men to Christ and all of them have been placed in connect teams where I fellowship so that they can be trained in the Word of God I have become an answer to my world. The Word has made me a solution provider to my colleagues, family and even friends. When there’s an issue in the family, I’m the first one they call😂😂😂😂😂 Because they know, I walk in the consciousness that I always receive answers to my prayers. My prayers work. And of course, I believe prayer works faster than a call to another human being for help…I don’t beg. God has made me a king. I walk in signs and wonders. God has used me to bring me healing and comfort to many. For example, I walked into a hospital ward the other day and everybody who was there, got discharged after 1-2 days🔥🔥🔥🔥🙆‍🙆‍. Since I got born again, I have brought peace and tranquillity, where there were chaos and confusion previously. I have become a source of joy for my family and friends. The Word of God has been made alive unto my spirit……e.t.c.”

This is the testimony of the new creation! So next time, please don’t amplify the deeds of the old man before salvation because he was crucified with Christ. He is dead. How has your walk of faith been??? Talk about this. Talk about the victories! Have you exercised your faith? Testify about it! Because faith always works! This is what will edify and encourage men!!😎😎And even if you did something wrong after you knew Christ, the blood of Jesus cleanses you from all unrighteousness. That is the past, history. It is done with. And it’s time to move on. Pastor says, don’t cry about spilled milk. It’s SPILLED already! Move on now. Never look at yourself from a point of faults and mistakes. You’re more than that in Christ!! You are perfection personified!!

2 Cor 5:14-15 Our firm decision is to work from this focused center: One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.

Verse 16-20 Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you.

Verse 21 How? you ask. In Christ. God put the wrong on him who never did anything wrong, so we could be put right with God.
