The project will facilitate direct distribution of sanitary towels, physiological education, leadership and mentorship classes to at least 1,000 girls. This will enhance their access to sustainable female hygiene and awareness.
What we look forward to
AN EDUCATED GENERATION
By directly distributing sanitary towels to girl’s primary and secondary schools thereby significantly improving their school attendance and performance.
AN INSPIRED GENERATION
Mentorship and leadership classes with topics about life and career will be tackled inspiring girls to a bright future, making sure they don’t walk blind to the truth.
A HEALTHY GENERATION
With ECIYC liaising with the teachers and trainers to guide girls through the developments taking place in their bodies and personal hygiene.
DONATING SANITARY TOWELS
To primary and secondary school girls between the ages of 10 and 18 years
LIAISE WITH TEACHERS
On teaching the girls about their bodies’ development and personal hygiene.
EVENTUALLY
Girls will not have to miss school simply because they are menstruating.
MENTORING GIRLS
In Primary and Secondary schools between the ages of 10 and 18 years.
SUPPORTING
Children homes with girls between ages 10 and 18 years with sanitary towels.
IN THE FUTURE
ECIYC will be able to take up girls on a sponsorship programme to study.
